Gifworks has 6 easy-to-use pulldown menus:

File Selections

• New 3D Text - an excellent banner generator!
• Open Image - Start here by pasting the URL of your image - it will then be on the page ready to work on.
• Save
• Transload has been replaced by Save
• Postcard - send a postcard with your image on it.
• Revert undoes all of your chnages
• Close Image - use if you want to work on a second image. It gives you a "clean slate" to start with.

 

Edit Selections

• Undo undoes your last operation, or just hit the back key.
• Redo - we did not see that this made a difference.
• Insert Text
• Resize
• Crop & Smart Crop
• Rotate Custom
• Rotate Right
• Rotate Left
• Flip Vertical
• Flip Horizontal
• Replace Color
• Transparify
• Un-Transpaify

View Selections allow to see your image in diferent sizes without actually changing its size.

• Zoom In shows you a larger version of your image.
• Zoom Out shows you a smaller version of your image.
• Zoom Custom shows your image as a percentage (25-400) of its actual size.
• 100% shows your image at actual size.
• Image Info gives you complete info about your image including width, height & transparency.

Sharpness Effects

• Sharp/Unsharp

Colorize Effects
Using Colorscales

• Monochrome converts your image to black & white
• Grayscale converts your image to shades of gray
• Colorshift replaces red with blue, green with red & blue with green
• Redscale converts your image to shades of red
• Greenscale converts your image to shades of green
• Bluescale converts your image to shades of blue
• Invert converts your image to a "negative"

Offset Effects all produce a second image - enter the number of pixels of offset you want to either overlap or have 2 separate images

• 3D Glasses - reproduces your images in separate colors
• Clone - doubles your image, separate or overlapped
• Shadow - your image on top of a gray version

Warp Effects shape your image
