Lesson #24BasketweavingYou are now ready to make a basketweave table. If you can make a basketweave, you can make anything you want. This project will require most of the techniques you have learned in the table course: nested tables, colspan, rowspan and gradcolors. You may use SSI to save time, but it is not required.
This table is your "final exam". But it is "open book", so feel free to ask any questions you may have.
It has horizontal straws:
Each straw section that you see is a nested table. The vertical sections are the same size as the horizontal sections. As you can see, the sides of each section are straight, but when you put them together in a table, they appear to be "bulged" or "pinched". This is an optical illusion. Here is a basketweave with cellspacing="1".
